Storyline 360 Interactions

The following examples showcase Storyline interactions I have designed and developed throughout my professional career.

MLA Badge

This training badge, developed for the College of Western Idaho, demonstrates to students how to accurately cite sources using MLA guidelines. The module incorporates interactive activities and real-world examples to reinforce proper citation practices and support academic writing skills.

Notetaking Badge

This training badge, developed for the College of Western Idaho, demonstrates to students how to apply effective note-taking strategies to support academic success in their college courses.

Reading Strategies Badge

This training badge, developed for the College of Western Idaho, helps students develop reading comprehension skills by applying targeted strategies for analyzing and engaging with academic texts.

Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluation Drag-and-Drop Activity

This activity features a drag-and-drop interaction in which learners match Kirkpatrick’s four levels of evaluation with corresponding actions. The exercise is designed to reinforce conceptual understanding through active application.

Agile/SCRUM Presentation & Assessment

This activity is structured as a learn-then-apply sequence, where learners first engage with informational content and then complete an assessment to demonstrate their understanding of the differences between Agile and Scrum models.

This activity is a microlearning module focused on the Albanian verb “to be.”

It incorporates a tab-based menu interaction using layers and triggers to create an interactive, self-paced learning experience.

Beer Brewing Tab Interaction Activity

This activity uses tab-based interaction to allow learners to explore the brewing process and its historical development in a structured, self-directed format.

This activity is a simulation-based module that demonstrates how to create a timeline using sliders, triggers, and layers in Articulate Storyline 360. It incorporates guided narration and closed captions to enhance accessibility and support diverse learner needs.

Professional History Timeline

This activity is an interactive professional timeline that showcases key milestones in my career. It uses a slider to enable users to navigate seamlessly between layers, creating a dynamic, user-controlled experience.

e-Learning Courses

Fol-Shpeit Google Site

As part of my master’s program at Boise State University, I designed a five-week intensive Albanian course with GoogleSites. The site provides a variety of different activities for the learner to extrapolate basic Albanian grammar and use simple greetings.

Technical Writing

Fol-Shpeit Design Document

During my Master’s program, I drafted a design document as a blueprint for a five-week Albanian course. This is the design document I used in order to effectively storyboard the course, its learning outcomes, and learner analysis.

Fol-Shpeit Course Syllabus

This syllabus supports a five-week Albanian language course, outlining course expectations, learning outcomes, and overall instructional structure.

Game Manual for Spudsville Minecraft Map

During my master’s program at Boise State University, I designed, developed, and prototyped a Minecraft-based learning experience for English as a Second Language (ESL) learners. The project includes a game manual that guides users on how to download, navigate, and engage with the world.

Design Document for Spudsville Minecraft Map

This design document outlines the learning outcomes for the Spudsville project and the rationale behind its learning activities. It serves as both a planning document and a storyboard guiding the development process.

Timeline Simulation Tutorial Storyboard

This storyboard outlines the design and development plan for the Storyline 360 Timeline Simulation tutorial, detailing content, interactions, and user flow to guide implementation.

 Research

A literature review on the relationship between personal traits and language learning

As part of my graduate research at Boise State University, I co-authored a study investigating how personality traits influence language learning outcomes, contributing to research on learner variability and instructional design.

Learner's autonomy in task-based language teaching for instructional design practices: a literature review

During my master’s program at Boise State University, I conducted research on learner autonomy in task-based language teaching (TBLT) and its application to instructional design. This work led to a co-authored publication with Dr. Youngkyun Baek, which found that TBLT can improve learner autonomy, while also highlighting the need for targeted scaffolding to support diverse learners.

Exploring Users' Perception of the Duolingo Korean Course Korean Education

Co-authored a mixed-methods study examining user perceptions of the Duolingo Korean course, identifying key differences across learner variables and informing opportunities for improved course design and usability.
